Veneers vs. Lumineers: Which Is Right for Your Smile?

By Dr. Lina Shahinyan, DDS, MS ·

Both are porcelain. Both can transform a smile. The difference is in how much they change — and how much tooth they require.

Traditional porcelain veneers

Slightly thicker, which gives us more control to change shape, length and color dramatically. A thin layer of enamel is reshaped.

Lumineers

Ultra-thin and often placed with minimal or no enamel removal. Ideal for smiles that need less correction.

How we decide together

We look at your bite, tooth position and goals, then show you a preview so you can choose with confidence.
