The short answer
A smile makeover is a personalized treatment plan that combines cosmetic and restorative procedures — such as whitening, veneers, bonding, Invisalign, crowns or implants — to improve the color, shape, alignment and health of your smile. At Pacific Dental Group, Dr. Lina Shahinyan designs each makeover around your face, bite and budget, and phases treatment when needed.

Phase
Health first, then alignment, color and shape in the right order.
What order do smile makeover treatments happen in?
Healthy foundations come first: cavities, gum disease and bite problems are treated before cosmetics. Alignment with Invisalign usually comes next, then whitening, and finally veneers, bonding or crowns matched to the new shade.
Getting the order right avoids paying twice — for example, whitening after veneers would leave natural teeth and porcelain mismatched.
How does Dr. Shahinyan design a natural-looking smile?
An oil painter outside the office, Dr. Shahinyan approaches smile design with an artist’s eye for proportion, symmetry and light. Every plan considers your lip line, facial shape and the subtle character that makes a smile look like yours.
